MEET PHIL

Better Relationships, Better Communities, Better Government

A lifelong resident of Macomb County and Chesterfield Township, Phil will be your voice on the Macomb County Board of Commissioners.

Currently, Phil is Legislative Aide for State Representative Jay DeBoyer. Previously, Phil worked for State Representative Pamela Hornberger for 8 years. Prior to that, Phil worked for Congresswoman Candice Miller for five years serving as a Constituent Services Representative. Phil has spent the last 14 years meeting and talking to the people of Macomb and St. Clair Counties to bridge the gap between Congress, the State House and the citizens. He has worked with seniors, veterans, high school students, local leaders, and members of the business community.

Phil married his wife Pam in September of 2017.

Phil graduated from Anchor Bay High School in 2004.

Phil earned his Bachelor's degree in Political Science at Saginaw Valley State University.

While commissioner, I pledge to do what is best for the people of Chesterfield, New Baltimore, Lenox and New Haven.

I want to be your voice and help to move our area and our county in the right direction.

I will focus on continuing and updating key services for our seniors and veterans.

I will work to sustain a balanced budget and bring a fiscal conservative mindset to the process.

I will focus on maintaining the jobs we have and attracting new businesses to the community.

I will continue to make Macomb an attractive place to live and do business.

I will work to improve our infrastructure and keep our water clean and safe.
